BONEYA (बोनेया) a Kurmali /Khortha /Sadri word, derived from word BON (Forest), which means “Forest-Dwellers”. BONEYA dwell close to hilly forest and the territories they inhabit are abode of nature, flora and fauna of which are source of food, medicines and resource for dwelling which are essential for human life. Jharkhand hills and forests are believed to be the abodes of divine powers and spirits that intervene in human affairs, thus it is thought that those inhabiting such areas are expert of natural farming. So the lore needed to practice farming with nature can only be learned from BONEYA only. Their ways of life and their livelihoods can teach us a lot about preserving natural resources, growing food in sustainable ways and living in harmony with nature.

Our objective is to popularize farm tourism concept amongst farmers and nature loving Urban population. We introduce our guests with sustainable organic agricultural practices, rich tribal culture and rural life, all the while offering a peaceful and quite holiday experience found only in the Jharkhand.
